Pianist will play for Brundibár (Krása/Hoffmeister) sung in English, and public performances of selections of Welcome to the Madness (Kirchoff/Peters), sung in English
2024 Contract Dates:
Brundibár Rehearsals/Tour: March 3-17
Welcome to the Madness Selections (working/performing with the composer): March 17-24
To apply you will need:
- a recent headshot and resume
- your contact information
- two videos of yourself playing with vocalist
Applications due February 12th, and will be accepted on a rolling basis.

Are you offering virtual or video submission options?
Unfortunately at this time we are only offering in person auditions in Forth Collins, Denver and Boulder Colorado.
How will I be compensated?
Checks are issued/mailed as one lump sum within 10 days of the final performance of the contract. We do not offer weekly payment at this time.
Is housing provided?
Yes, when residence is required in Steamboat Springs, we provide housing.
Is transportation provided?
No. You are responsible for your own transportation to/from and around Steamboat Springs, unless otherwise stated. (When you participate in the Opera in the Schools Program we provide transportation from the Opera Steamboat office to all schools located outside of Steamboat Springs.)
