ALL HAIL THE KING! CONCERT

Join our collaborative partner the Steamboat Symphony Orchestra for a regal start to their 31st season with works by Beethoven, John Williams, and more. Opera Steamboat brings renowned concert pianist Walter Morales, a native of Costa Rica, to perform as the featured artist for Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto, known for its grandeur and heroic melodies and a staple of the piano/orchestra repertoire for more than 200 years. Works by John Williams include the theme of Jurassic Park. Additional works include Piazolla’s Libertango and Marquez’s Danzon #2. Music Director Ernest Richardson conducts.
